Runaya's Gas-atomized Aluminium Powder business, in partnership with ECKART a global leader in aluminium granules and effect pigments headquartered in Germany, brings India's first domestic production of low-carbon, spherical gas-atomized aluminium powders and granules.

The ECKART Group headquartered in Germany, a company of ALTANA AG, stands as one of the premier global entities in effect pigment manufacturing. With a presence across 70 countries, ECKART's diverse products are used across coatings, printing, plastics, autoclaved aerated concrete, and cosmetics industries amongst others. The group specializes in the development, manufacture, and distribution of metallic effect and pearlescent pigments in various forms such as powder, paste, and pellets, alongside concentrates, dispersions, and printing inks. ECKART also drives advancements in metal powder optimization for 3D printing.

Strategically located in Odisha near aluminium smelters, the facility is designed for precise particle control, consistent product quality, and low carbon manufacturing. Runaya produces spherical atomized aluminium powders and granules along with alloy powders for use in solar cells, aerospace components, automotive materials, catalysts, refractories, pigments, explosives, and additive manufacturing.
